John Runkle will play his final It Dies Today show in Buffalo on 7 November. He and Nick Mirusso will split the Sirens anniversary set, after which Mirusso returns to the band permanently.
Runkle described the decision as his own and said he and Mirusso spent weeks making the handover happen. He will remain involved with It Dies Today in another capacity. Mirusso, in turn, thanked Runkle for helping keep the band moving and said being back still feels surreal.
The show also marks 25 years of It Dies Today and 20 years of Sirens. All Out War, Gemstar, Sicksense, Autoignition and Jeweltone complete the bill at Rec Room. Tickets are on sale through the official promoter listing.
