What happens next
We check the original reporting file and the new evidence. Clear factual errors are corrected as soon as they are verified. Material changes receive an update note so readers can understand what changed.
What is not a correction
Disagreement with a review, genre classification or editorial emphasis is not automatically a factual error. We will still consider well-supported context and update a story when it materially improves accuracy.
