Ozzfest has formally confirmed that its 2027 return will take place at Villa Park in Birmingham. The festival's own announcement names the stadium and promises further information, but it does not give a date, lineup or ticket-sale window.

Villa Park is where Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath played their final show on 5 July 2025. The revived festival will therefore begin at the site of the performance that closed its co-founder's live career.

What Ozzfest has actually confirmed

Sharon Osbourne has previously discussed one or two days in Birmingham and a later United States edition. The new announcement doesn't confirm either schedule or name any artists.

The festival history behind Villa Park

Ozzfest helped bring late-1990s and early-2000s heavy music from clubs into amphitheatres. Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and System Of A Down appeared during their early album years, and later bills brought metalcore and deathcore to the same mixed audiences.

That's why we'll be watching the smaller-stage announcements as closely as the headliners. For now, Villa Park and 2027 are the only confirmed details.
