P.O.D. released ‘Outbreak’ on 30 September with a guest appearance from Norma Jean vocalist Cory Brandan. The single is their first original release since Veritas in 2024.
Will Yip produced the track. His recent heavy-music credits include Turnstile and Code Orange, while P.O.D. first connected with Brandan when the two bands toured together in 2024.
The official video turns the title into a complete zombie-apocalypse setup, with Brandan appearing alongside P.O.D. rather than being treated as a detached guest verse.
No album date has been announced. ‘Outbreak’ currently stands as a separate release while P.O.D. continue work on their next record.
