Imminence have released the official video for ‘Crestfallen’, a track from their sixth album Axis Mundi. The record arrived on 2 October through Sumerian Records; this is a new visual for an existing album song, not a new single announcement.

The film continues a connected narrative introduced through videos for ‘The Sword That Never Bends’, ‘False Light’ and ‘If Not Now, When’. At its centre is a knight condemned to keep searching for an end to his life. The band have also developed the concept into an Axis Mundi film directed by Pavel Trebukhin, screened in selected cinemas internationally.

Two tours in view

Imminence begin a North American headline run in Worcester, Massachusetts, on 13 November, with Dying Wish and Gaerea joining them. The tour is scheduled to finish in Montreal on 13 December. The band then return to Europe in January, with August Burns Red and House of Protection on the bill, including a Tilburg show at 013 on 10 January.

We spoke to vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg and guitarist Harald Barrett at Reload Festival about the scale of Axis Mundi, their early love of August Burns Red and what happens when listeners find their own meaning in a song. That interview is available here on Legends of Loud, alongside the new film.
