Mayday Parade released their self-titled album on 4 October 2011 through Fearless Records. It was their third full-length, following Anywhere but Here.
The 12-song tracklist opens with ‘Oh Well, Oh Well’ and closes with ‘Happy Endings Are Stories That Haven’t Ended Yet’. That bookend gives the record a clear shape without reducing its anniversary to a date and a tracklist.
The official ‘Oh Well, Oh Well’ video pushed the opener into a dark illustrated story, matching the song’s theatrical build instead of treating it as a straightforward performance clip.
