Oathbreaker released Rheia on 30 September 2016 through Deathwish Inc. It was the Belgian band's third album, moving repeatedly between hardcore, black metal and shoegaze without settling into one of them.

‘10:56’ and ‘Second Son of R.’ form one opening movement, starting in restraint before the full band arrives. ‘Being Able To Feel Nothing’ and ‘Needles In Your Skin’ keep moving between melody and abrasion, while ‘Begeerte’ lets the album dissolve instead of forcing a clean ending.

For the tenth anniversary, Oathbreaker have given the record more than a date on the calendar. Rheia (Redux) arrived in May with new mastering, and the band announced European shows connected to the album.

The anniversary dates run from Paris on 7 December to London on 13 December, with stops in Cologne, Berlin, Karlsruhe and the band's hometown of Ghent in between.
