Soul Glo will release Na I’m Gon Grab Allat through Epitaph Records on 15 January 2027. It is the Philadelphia band’s first album since Diaspora Problems in 2022, and its opening track, February Theory, is out now with an official video.

Pierce Jordan writes about repeatedly losing people in February, and the grief and anger that follow. Tati Salazar adds backing vocals as the song moves from wiry punk into a breakdown that hits much harder than its first minute suggests.

Four resentments, fourteen tracks

The album was recorded at Foto Club in Philadelphia. Guitarist GG Guerra handled production and engineering, Evan Bernard assisted, Steve Evetts mixed it and Howie Weinberg mastered it. Its track list contains four separate Resentment songs, alongside appearances from Eugene Robinson, Tunde Adebimpe, Bbymutha, MIKE and other voices from the band’s wider community.

Across the album, Soul Glo look at how men love, hurt each other and try to change. February Theory is a fast, uncomfortable introduction. The detail in Jordan's writing is what stays with us.
