Trivium have released Dead Inside Of Me, the first song from their still-unannounced eleventh album and their first full-length-era material since In The Court Of The Dragon.

Paolo Gregoletto says it began with a riff called Slam that had been sitting around for five or six years. The band then built the song around a deliberately simple groove.

The Private Self Versus The Public Face

The lyric idea comes from honne and tatemae: the distance between private feelings and the face shown to everyone else. Pavel Trebukhin's video turns that split into full horror imagery.

Dead Inside Of Me also begins the band's first album cycle with Alex Rüdinger behind the kit. Trivium have not yet announced the album title, track list or release date.
