We Came As Romans have released ‘where did you go? O’ with Headwreck, bringing an Australian touring friendship into their Circularity project. The song reimagines a track from 2025’s All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed and arrives ahead of the expanded release on 6 November through SharpTone Records.
Dave Stephens says the bands became friends while touring Australia together. WCAR already liked Headwreck’s music, but the invitation came down to something more specific: their approach to writing, the fun in their work and the personality they brought both onstage and off.

“We were excited to hear their take on the song and give them room to bring that part of themselves to it.”

That freedom is the interesting part of this pairing. For Legends, the appeal is hearing what happens when a band you have shared a tour with gets room to reshape your work. Stephens’ explanation makes Headwreck’s own character the reason for the collaboration, and gives listeners a useful way into the new version.
Where Headwreck fit into Circularity
The 23-track edition contains four new songs and six reimagined collaborations. Headwreck’s version sits directly after the original ‘where did you go?’ in the running order, putting both interpretations next to each other.
The other reworks bring in Currents and After The Burial on ‘bad luck O’, HEAVENSGATE on ‘red smoke O’, Dayseeker’s Rory Rodriguez on ‘one by one O’, Ladrones on ‘culture wound O’ and Bury Tomorrow on ‘b2tm O’. According to the announcement, Bury Tomorrow contributed a new chorus, while the Ladrones collaboration includes flamenco guitar and lyrics recorded entirely in Spanish.
Make Them Suffer appear on ‘DEAD SILENT’, one of the four new songs, alongside ‘WHEN EVERYTHING IS STILL’, ‘BORN FROM NOTHING’ and ‘SPEAK TO EXIST’. Those additions open the expanded tracklist and extend the original album’s cycle between its closing ‘BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED’ and opening ‘ALL IS BEAUTIFUL…’.
‘where did you go? O’ is streaming now. All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed: Circularity follows on 6 November.
