All Shall Perish released ‘Led To Slaughter’ on 25 September. It is their second new single in fifteen years, following ‘Be As Kings, Be As Gods’ earlier this month.
The timing matters. Their crowdfunding campaign passed its $75,000 target for a first album since This Is Where It Ends in 2011. The band are making the record independently, without a label or manager.
Zack Ohren produced both comeback singles. The current live lineup includes Eddie Hermida, Chris Storey, Ben Orum, Adrian Oropeza and Andrew Baird.
After years of false starts, two finished songs and a funded album make this more than another reunion announcement. The open question is how much of The Price of Existence will remain in a modern All Shall Perish record.
