Pain Of Truth have released their self-titled second album through DAZE. The Long Island band recorded the eleven-track follow-up to Not Through Blood with producer Will Putney.
The first album advertised a different guest on every song. This time the official tracklist names nobody outside the band. Calling the record Pain Of Truth makes that choice feel deliberate: album two is presented as the band, not a list of co-signs.
‘Unforgiven’, ‘Stranded’ and ‘Obliteration’ arrived before release. The complete record keeps the same compact shape across eleven songs, with only ‘Destroy It All’ passing three and a half minutes.
The album closes with ‘Destroy It All’. Before that, ‘Chinatown, NY’ puts the band’s Long Island identity directly into the tracklist instead of leaving it as background information.
