Punk Rock Saves Lives works where punk already gathers: concerts, tours and festivals. Between sets, people can join a bone-marrow registry, pick up harm-reduction supplies or find mental-health information.
Joining The Donor Registry
A cheek swab can register someone as a potential bone-marrow donor. It's something a listener can do at the event without making a long-term volunteering commitment.
Practical Supplies At Shows
The organisation distributes naloxone, test strips, earplugs and other supplies. It brings harm reduction into places where people already gather.
This is useful work to have at a punk show. People can leave with information or supplies they may need, having found them somewhere familiar.
