Aftershock returns to Discovery Park in Sacramento from 1 to 4 October with more than 140 artists. My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit, Pierce The Veil and Tool headline the four days; below them sits an unusually deep run of emo and post-hardcore bands.
The Used, AFI, Sleeping With Sirens, The Story So Far, Hot Mulligan, Chiodos and Circa Survive give emo and post-hardcore fans plenty to see. Thursday centres on My Chemical Romance and the punk side of the lineup. Saturday brings Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens and Circa Survive.
Circa Survive make this a reunion date
The official lineup bills Circa Survive's appearance as a West Coast reunion show. That's one to circle, even with so many bigger names on the poster.
It's worth going through the schedule properly. Aftershock is a mixed festival, but you could spend a lot of this weekend watching emo and post-hardcore bands.
